A roadway ramming incident in Sumner County Wednesday afternoon has ended peacefully and an investigation is continuing, Sheriff Darren Chambers said.

Around 2:30 p.m., Wellington police and sheriff's personnel were called to an incident that involved as many as five vehicles. Chambers said a group from Sedgwick County pursued a Sumner County man from Wichita to Wellington to Mayfield and then back to Wellington.
