A local man was arrested Wednesday night following a high-speed pursuit in east Winfield.James F. Veale Jr., 33, was arrested around 8 p.m. just outside the city during a brief chase that sometimes reached 95 miles per hour, authorities said.
He was in jail Thursday morning and being held on $5,300 bond.
