A person injured in a crash Friday afternoon has died as a result of their injuries.
Emergency crews Friday were at the scene of an injury motor vehicle accident north of Ark City.
A person was not breathing at the scene and Cowley County Sheriff Don Read has confirmed the person died, according to radio reports. The vehicle was in the southeast ditch at the intersection of 252nd Rd. and 51st Rd.
An investigator at the scene said one person was involved in the accident. They were extricated from their vehicle and transported to a local hospital.
