Cowley College’s Tiger Booster Club is preparing to host the 18th annual Tiger Skins/Brian Groves Memorial Golf Tournament Saturday, Aug. 4 at Quail Ridge Golf Course in Winfield.

The format consists of four-person teams (men and women welcome). Groups of fewer than four players will be paired by the tournament director. Each person must indicate their handicap or normal score, and each team will subtract 15 percent of their team handicap from their final score.

The entry fee is $65 per golfer if received by Aug. 1 or $75 per golfer if received after Aug. 1. The cost includes green fee, range balls the morning of the tournament, coffee, juice and donuts, a cookout, golf cart, logo golf ball, and drawing for prizes. There also will be on-course contests.

Following the tournament the awards presentation will be held at Montana Mike’s in Winfield, where each golfer will receive two free drink tickets and appetizers.

Mulligans are available for $5 each, with a maximum of four per player. Each player on a team must use at least two of his or her drives.

For more information, or to reserve a spot in the tournament, contact the Cowley athletic office at 620-441-5268 or 620-441-5246.
