In the early morning hours of Friday, July 13th, 2012, Officers and Investigators of the Arkansas City Police Department responded to the Hillcrest Bible Baptist Church located at 2440 N. Summit in reference to a burglary.

Investigators found that significant damage had been committed inside the church and that money and electronic equipment had been taken.

The money was donations that were raised and intended on being used to send youth to camp.  

Police have made no arrests at this time and the investigation continues. If anyone has any information they are urged to contact the Arkansas City  Police Department  at 620-441-4444, Crimestoppers 620-442-7777, or text key word ACPTIPS followed by the tip to 847411. 

All tips are completely anonymous and the caller may be eligible for up to a $1,000.00 reward.
