It may seem like summer is only beginning but school registration is just around the corner.
Parents interested in registering their three-year-old child in an early childhood education program should call the Cowley County Special Education Coop at 221-7021 to be included in the August 7 screening at Lincoln Early Childhood Center. Those parents with a child turning four on or before August 31 may call Lincoln at 441-2075 to schedule a screening appointment. The early childhood screenings for the four-year-old programs will be July 25-27 and July 30-31 at Lincoln. The first day of school for Pre-K students is August 30.
Kindergarten registration will also be July 25-27 at Lincoln. Registration will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Parents of current students may have already completed a registration packet at the end of last school year. Those parents need not attend. The first day of school for Kindergarten students is August 30.
Parents of current elementary, middle school, and high school students will soon be receiving a letter with instructions for online registration. On-site registration will also be available at each school building. Parents who wish to register in person as opposed to online should go to their child’s school on these dates:
