Construction is scheduled to begin this Tuesday, June 26th, to improve auxiliary lanes at the intersection of U.S. 77 and 242nd Road.

Throughout the month of July, U.S. 77 traffic will be reduced to one northbound and one southbound lane.
 
Beginning August 3rd and lasting for approximately three weeks, the intersection will be closed entirely.

All traffic will be detoured during this time. This closure will impact traffic traveling to South Central Kansas Medical Center.
 
Drivers are reminded to obey all posted traffic and detour signs, as well as to be aware of construction crews working along the roadside.
