Ark City Dentist Dr. John Seitz was arrested Wednesday for violating a protective order, authorities confirmed.
Seitz was arrested in Ark City around 6 p.m. His bond was set at $1,000 and he was later released.
Last month, the Cowley County Sheriff’s office, Kansas Bureau of Investigation and Ark City Police conducted a search of Seitz’s home and his business, Ark City Dental. This arrest was not a result of those searches but that initial investigation is continuing.
Authorities would not say who had the protective order against Seitz, or what he is accused of doing to have violated it.
