GE Engine Services To Undergo Partial Elimination of Third Shift
General Electric Engine Services - which operates facilities in Winfield and at Strother Field - will undergo a partial elimination of third-shift production in an effort to operate more efficiently, company officials said Thursday.
Plant manager Cristina Seda-Hoelle said no jobs would be cut as a result of the change, which will take place March 4.
"We will maintain third shift in the areas where we need the capacity,” she said.
